Welcome to my classroom. I love teaching science and I am very excited about my classroom this year. We have received a grant from the Connecticut Department of Education that has allowed us to build a microprocessor lab. Click here to check out the EETT grant.
We are in the process of revising our curriculum, which means we will be continuing to set clear goals and expectations. These goals include establishing a strong set of lessons and activities based on the State of Connecticut Science Framework, building and maintaining a classroom dedicated to nothing else but seventh grade science, studying our surroundings while finding ways to use it to address curriculum topics, and working on the expectations of the upcoming Science CMT.
This wiki is being established for use as a student/parent resource. It includes rubrics that I use to grade papers, a weekly homework schedule, sample questions, interesting facts and links, an update of our latest classroom topics, useful documents and forms, and our recent accomplishments.
